We know how difficult it is for parents to choose

child care, especially when they are making the decision for the first time.  This facility is licensed to care for children from six weeks old to twelve years old.  The program chosen by parents may be either full time or part time depending on the needs of the individual family.

Infants,Toddlers & Preschoolers

Children up to 12 months old participate in the program where they learn to walk, talk, sing, dance and play with other children.  They are introduced to new foods, and they play with a variety of educational toys which cater to their age group.

The facility uses the a beka curriculum which is a tried and proven program used in many schools.  Children who use this program prior to entering school have been known to excel, and they are usually more advanced than their peers. More information on the curriculum can be viewed at http://a beka.com.  The program is designed to assist them to learn to:

• count and recognize numbers
  
• say the alphabet and recognize letters
  
• color and recognize colors
  
• draw and recognize shapes
  
• write letters and numbers
• introduce themselves by name & age
  
• speak in sentences
• sing, dance, play and have fun with other children. 

Parents who would like to have their children participate in the a beka curriculum are required to pay a preliminary fee which is assessed for the purchase of the a beka material.

In addition, they are taken weekly to the public library where the librarian reads them a story and they sing, dance and have fun with other children in their age group.  They also have gymnastics periodically.  Two hours daily they are allowed to play outdoors if the weather permits. 

School age

Children over five years old are required to be registered in school.  They may take part in the after care program offered in this facility.  Transportation is provided to and from school at no extra cost to parents.  Arrangements may even be made to transport them home, if a responsible adult is waiting there for them.

After care children have their snacks as soon as they arrive at the facility, then they do their home work.  Home work assistance is available if required.   A tutoring service is available for children who need additional help.

Extra-curricula activities are available on select days.  These activities include the meeting of the chess club, music, dance, drama etc.  On Fridays, if the weather permits, the children visit the neighborhood playground after school for an outdoor picnic, and to use the playground equipment. 

One unique aspect about this day care is that most of the clients are return customers.  They may have terminated their services for financial or other personal reasons, but most parents have their children re-enrolled as soon as their  personal issues are resolved.   Please click on the testimonial page to read the comments of parents who have had their children registered in this facility for over five years, even though the children were absent for an extended period of time.

The girls at Creative Family Day Care are given the opportunity to participate in dance lessons.  This little girl had her dance recitals at Flowers' High School, as well as Evangel Cathedral.  She 'stole the hearts' of the audience on each occasion.
